Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HexA8085 (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App.

Description of Service

HexA8085 is an Android application that simulates the Intel 8085 microprocessor. The App allows users to write, assemble, and execute 8085 assembly language programs, and to inspect CPU registers, flags, and memory state. The App operates entirely offline.

License

The App is provided as open-source software. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, personal license to download, install, and use the App for educational and personal purposes. Redistribution, modification, and derivative works are permitted only in compliance with the terms of the applicable open-source license accompanying the source code.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal or harmful activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the App beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licenses
  • Use the App in violation of applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and source code, is owned by the developer, except for third-party libraries and the Intel 8085 instruction set architecture, which are the property of their respective owners. The Intel 8085 is a registered trademark of Intel Corporation. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Intel Corporation.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. The developer does not warrant that:

  • The simulated microprocessor behaviour is fully accurate or complete for all edge cases
  • The App will function uninterrupted or error-free
  • The App meets your specific educational or professional requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of academic credit, or any other damages.

Accuracy of Simulation

The App is an educational tool and may not reproduce the exact timing, electrical characteristics, or all undocumented behaviours of the physical Intel 8085 microprocessor. The simulation is provided for learning purposes and should not be used in safety-critical or production systems.

Termination

Access to the App may be suspended or terminated if the App is used in violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
